Guernsey Cricket has outlined its vision for the next phase of the sport’s development on the island, following a period of organisational change and new senior appointments.

Guernsey Cricket is delighted to announce the appointment of Ilze van der Westhuizen as its new Cricket Development Manager, with Ilze having recently arrived in Guernsey to take up the role.

Guernsey Cricket has welcomed the launch of the European T20 Premier League (ETPL) as a potentially significant step forward for the development of elite cricket across Europe, with clear long-term opportunities for players from Associate nations such as Guernsey.

Earlier this month two benches were unveiled at KGV Guernsey in honour of Alan Bisson and Mick Fooks - recognising decades of dedication, talent and love for Guernsey cricket.
