Coach Education plays a pivotal role in the overall development of cricket within Guernsey as coaches support the development of players at clubs and schools across the island.

We run a range of courses in partnership with various partners including ICC, Hampshire Cricket Board and the Guernsey Sports Commission for people aspiring to become a coach as well as those already qualified within the pathway. We have most recently run an ICC Level 1 course which enabled a further 12 new coaches who developed and passed through the course.

On island, we have two qualified ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board) tutors, Jeremy Frith and Ben Ferbrache. For ICC (International Cricket Council) courses, we have three qualified tutors, Jeremy Frith, Lee Forshaw and Hannah Mechem.

With the support of the Guernsey Sports Commission, we are also able to access safeguarding and first aid courses through their 1st4Sport and UK Coaching approved centre.
