These are exciting times for Guernsey cricket with the National squad being given T20 International status. Guernsey was proud to host the ICC T20 European Cricket World Cup qualifiers in the summer of 2019. The tournament was a huge success for the Island and was extremely well received by the ICC and the other visiting nations.

Guernsey continue to try and climb up the World rankings and currently sit 37th out of 89 countries (28/12/23). The 2023 season saw Guernsey win their first ever T20I Series defeating Germany 2-1 at Deventer.

The 2024 season will be another busy campaign with Guernsey playing host for the ICC T20 Division 2 European Cricket World Cup qualifiers in August. This adds to an already busy schedule with a T20I Inter Insular, the annual 50 over Inter Insular, fixtures against Hampshire Academy and the MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club).

These are equally as exciting times for Guernsey Women's cricket with the National squad being given T20 International status.

The women played in their first T20 International game in the 2019 season defeating Jersey in a one off T20 match.]

The team then headed to Vienna, Austria to compete in a T20I.  After as much travel disruption a team could ever encounter, they pulled out all the stops and secured a 3-1 defeat winning the series title and gaining Guernsey Women's first ever T20I world ranking (51st, 28/12/23).
