Mark Latter - Chief Executive & Director of Cricket

On the 31st of January 2009 Mark was appointed as full time Cheif Executive for Guernsey Cricket after a 23 year career in banking. This was a requriment that was required when the island gained associate membership to the ICC. Mark was previously involved within the Guernsey cricket Association as Secretary and President. 

Mark is responsible for pretty much everything cricket on the Island from appointments to organising fixtures. 

Ash Wright - Head of Cricket

Ash took up the reigns as Head of Cricket in January 2016 following on from Nic Pothas and is now in his third year. Ash started out in cricket playing first class cricket with Leicestershire CCC and making his debut against Pakistan. His notable highlights highlights include scoring a list A hundred in the C&G Cup. Following his 6 year professional career Ash turned his efforts into coaching and in particular studying human movement and mechanics.


He spent time with Sussex CCC Under 11's right the way through to the Academy. Following this he joined Surrey CCC working with both the first and second team in not only coaching but also Strength and Conditioning. One of Ash's most recent ventures was with Rajshahi Kings in the Bangladesh Premier League as batting coach working with the likes of Darren Sammy, Lendl Simmons and Samit Patel. Whilst in Guernsey he has achieved the ECB level 4 coaching badge making him one of 2 on the Island with this qualification.  Ash has also studied a post graduate in Elite coaching.

Ben Ferbrache - Cricket Development Manager

Ben Ferbrache has been appointed the role of Guernsey Cricket Development Manager following on from Dave Hooper’s 8 year employment. Ben has worked Dave over the past couple of years assisting with several of the junior sessions. As a qualified level 2.5 cricket coach Ben will be responsible for the managing and coaching of the junior programmes and continuing Dave’s excellent work already in place.


Along with his university degree in Sports Development and Coaching and Applied Sports Exercise Studies, Ferbrache is hoping to take his level 3 qualification as soon as possible to become one of only 5 coaches on the island with this qualification.


Ben has been a member of the Guernsey first team since 2006. He has competed in every World Cricket League competition for Guernsey and is a key member of the current first team squad.

Lee Forshaw - Cricket Participation Officer

A certified accountant by profession, Lee has recently swapped debits and credits for bat and ball to assist us with the cricket in schools programme. Lee also works with the development sides, the girls cricket team and coaches the Wanderers Irregular youth section. Lee is looking to complete his level 2 coaching qualification later this year.


Lee has been playing cricket in Guernsey since moving  to the island in 2004 as a seam bowler for Irregulars.


Outside of cricket, Lee is a FA level 1 qualified and coaches youth football.
