Apogee partnership helps Guernsey Under 15 Girls gain invaluable international experience

Guernsey Cricket has thanked Apogee for its outstanding support of the Guernsey Under 15 Girls squad following the team's successful participation in the ICC Under 15 Girls Tournament in Taunton.

The sponsorship helped the squad prepare for and compete in an international environment, providing players with the opportunity to test themselves against other developing cricket nations while gaining invaluable experience both on and off the field. For many of the players, it was their first taste of international cricket and an important step in their cricketing journey.

Richard Headington, Chief Operating Officer of Guernsey Cricket, said:

"We would like to express our thanks to Apogee for their fantastic support of our Under 15 Girls programme.
Partnerships such as this make a genuine difference. They provide young players with opportunities to develop as cricketers, gain international experience and create memories that will stay with them for many years.
The squad represented Guernsey with great enthusiasm, commitment and sportsmanship throughout the tournament, and the experience they have gained will undoubtedly benefit both the players individually and the continued growth of the women's game locally.
We are determined to continue investing in the girls' pathway, and the support of organisations such as Apogee plays a vital role in helping us achieve those ambitions."

Marion Brooks, Chief People Person at Apogee, added:

"We were delighted to support the Guernsey Under 15 Girls and are incredibly proud of everything they achieved during the tournament.
It has been wonderful to see the players represent Guernsey with such passion and commitment, and we hope the experience inspires them to continue enjoying and developing their cricket. Supporting young people within our community is something that is very important to us, and we look forward to following the team's future progress."

Guernsey Cricket would like to thank Apogee for its continued support in helping create opportunities for young cricketers and inspiring the next generation of female players.
