Guernsey’s young cricketers have plenty to be proud of after securing an impressive third-place finish at the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup Europe Division 2 Qualifier, hosted in Guernsey.

Following Italy's success at the ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup Europe Qualifier in Guernsey, Federazione Cricket Italiana representative Stefano Pieri has shared his thanks to Guernsey Cricket, its volunteers and partners for delivering what he described as an "outstanding ICC qualifying event."

More than 45 volunteers have contributed hundreds of hours behind the scenes to help deliver the ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup Europe Qualifier, held from Friday 24 July to Thursday 30 July across KGV, Port Soif, Memorial Field and College Field.

Guernsey will welcome the next generation of international cricketing talent from 22-31 July, as the island is set to host the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup – Europe Division 2 Qualifier.
