Smarter Payments Supporting Guernsey Cricket on the International Stage

The Guernsey Senior Men’s National Team recently returned from Cyprus following an outstanding ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Sub-Regional Qualifier campaign, where they finished runners-up after reaching the tournament final.

The competition provided an excellent opportunity for the team to represent Guernsey on the international stage and also marked the first major international appearance of Guernsey Cricket’s new Front of Shirt Sponsor, Smarter Payments.

The new long-term partnership sees Smarter Payments branding feature prominently on the front of the Senior Men’s National Team playing shirts during international fixtures, ICC tournaments and representative matches.

The Guernsey Senior Men continue to represent the island with distinction in international cricket, competing regularly in ICC Europe qualification tournaments, international T20 fixtures and bilateral series. Their recent campaign in Cyprus saw the team secure victories over Sweden, Malta, Austria and Slovenia before narrowly missing out in the final against Jersey.

The partnership with Smarter Payments comes at an exciting time for Guernsey Cricket as the organisation continues to invest in high-performance cricket, player development and pathways for future generations.
