Guernsey Cricket is pleased to welcome back experienced high-performance coach Craig Hogan, who will arrive on-island shortly from Australia for his third – and likely final – season supporting the Senior Men’s and Under-19 programmes.

His return comes at a pivotal time for Guernsey Cricket, with both squads preparing for major international competitions. The Senior Men will travel to Cyprus in May for their ICC World Cup Qualifier, while the Under-19s will host their own World Cup Qualifier in Guernsey in July.
A highly regarded coach with extensive international experience, Craig has previously held senior roles including National Academy Manager with Cricket Ireland and High Performance Manager with Jersey Cricket. As an ECB Master Coach (Level 4), he has played a key role in developing elite youth and senior programmes across multiple cricketing nations.
Over the past two seasons, Craig has made a significant and lasting contribution to Guernsey Cricket, helping to strengthen performance standards, enhance player development pathways, and support both coaches and players in building a high-performance environment.
Rob Thomson, Senior Men’s National Team Manager, said:
“Craig has been an outstanding asset to Guernsey Cricket over the past two years. His experience, attention to detail and ability to connect with players have added real value to our environment. As we head into a World Cup Qualifier, having someone of Craig’s calibre involved in our preparations is hugely beneficial.”
Jeremy Frith, Senior Men’s National Team Head Coach, added:
“Craig brings a level of insight and professionalism that significantly enhances what we are trying to achieve as a squad. He has a proven track record in developing players and building high-performance environments, and his contribution both on and off the field will be key as we prepare for the challenges ahead.”
Guernsey Cricket would also like to thank Ravenscroft Capital for their valued support in contributing towards the funding of Craig’s visit, helping to enable the continued development of elite cricket on the island.
Craig will work closely with both the Senior Men’s squad and Under-19 players throughout his stay, supporting technical development, tactical preparation, and overall performance readiness.
Guernsey Cricket looks forward to making the most of his expertise once again as both squads aim to perform strongly in their respective World Cup qualifying campaigns.
