Blanchelande crowned 2025 Kwik Cricket champions

Blanchelande took the honours as the 2025 Kwik Cricket Finals Day produced plenty of big hitting, cartwheeling wickets and great catches. Under blue skies and a scorching sun, 15 Year 5/6 teams took part, each representing their school with pride, top effort and great sportsmanship in four hours of non-stop, fast action cricket.

After a round-robin group stage and two tough semi-finals, Blanchelande and Hautes Capelles reached the final.

Blanchelande (267) sealed a 34-run defeat of Hautes Capelles (233), while Beechwood 2 got the better of Forest to clinch third place.

All the teams gathered in front of the KGV Clubhouse to cheer the winners as they received the shield from Katrina Bray of sponsors Titan Wealth.
