Junior Domestic Cricket 

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED 

 

The Guernsey junior leagues act as a perfect first opportunity to start playing cricket as well as a great stepping stone for those experienced players in to the adult game.

League Structure:

First Division: Players in Years 8 and 9 (plus Year 7's currently training with the Guernsey Representative and Shadow squads) 

Second Division: Players in Years 5 to 7 (plus selected Year 4's)

Four teams in each division: Jaguars, Pumas, Lions and Tigers

 

Games:

Matches will take place on Sunday mornings at Memorial Field. The leagues will operate on approximately alternate weeks with the First Division commencing on 5th May and the Second Division on the 12th with breaks for football festivals and any Guernsey Cricket off island tours. 

 

Costs and sign up:

The cost for the summer will be £75 which will include at least six games and hopefully additional friendlies and pre season training. It also includes a high quality playing T-shirt and cap.

 

The player registration deadline is Extended to Wednesday 20th March 2024.  This is really important as players will be allocated to their teams just after that, so that everyone can be notified prior to the schools breaking up for Easter holidays.
