Earlier this month, something truly special happened at the KGV....
Two benches were unveiled in honour of Alan Bisson and Mick Fooks - recognising decades of dedication, talent and love for Guernsey cricket.
From their early days at Elizabeth College to shaping so many memories for players, supporters and the wider community, Alan and Mick have given our sport far more than runs and scorecards - they’ve given us friendship, passion, humour and history
Seeing these two remarkable gentlemen together again, surrounded by family and friends, was a moment full of warmth and pride. Their names now sit in front of the Lord’s Taverners Pavilion - a lasting reminder of everything they’ve contributed to Guernsey cricket.
Thank you to everyone who made the day possible, including the Friends of KGV for their support with this lovely tribute.
Please enjoy this short video put together by On Screen Creations - it really captures the heart of the day.
Thank you, Alan and Mick - for everything.
