BARCLAYS WEALTH EVENING LEAGUE MVP TABLES

The Barclays Wealth Evening League Most Valuable Player Awards are back for the 2011 season.

The points system is slightly modified from last year, which we hope is an improvement.

Points are awarded for Evening League performances. There are separate Batting and Bowling Awards for each Division, which will then be taken into account for Overall Divisional Player of the Year Award. Each month a prize will be awarded in conjunction with Barclays Wealth for the top performer overall based upon these results.

BATTING (9 points maximum):

20 runs - 1 point
30 runs - 2 points
40 runs - 3 points
50 runs - 4 points
60 runs - 5 points
70 runs plus - 6 points
Century - 3-point bonus

BOWLING (9 points maximum):

2 wickets - 1 point
3 wickets - 2 points
4 wickets - 3 points
5 wickets - 4 points
6 wickets - 5 points
7 wickets plus - 6 points
Hat-trick - 3-point bonus

The MVP points table is matched to the Evening League Potted Scorecards.  If the full potted scorecard for a specific game doesn't yet appear, then the MVP points from that game won't have yet been taken into account.

These results will be rewarded with prizes at the BARCLAYS WEALTH GCB Awards Dinner on Friday 4th November 2011
