With Cobo Tigers unable to do anything having finished their campaign the previous week it was left to Argyll Investment and Odey ORs to come up with 37 points or more to take the title. Odey ORs would have gone into their game with Elizabeth College feeling pretty confident against the previously winless students but came unstuck in grand style! First Zac Damarell (85) and Nick Waldron (96) helped by Tom Still (36) saw Elizabeth College to 277 all out before Still returned with the ball to take 5-23 to roll Odey ORs over for just 184.
This left the field clear for Argyll Investment CC and they duly obliged with skipper GH Smit hitting 126 and supported by David Hooper (22) and Tom Kimber (34) they posted 278 all out against PKF Wanderers. In reply Matt Watson (38) and Iain Atchison got PKF Wanderers off to a start but they never really threatened the Argyll Investment CC total despite 44 from Blane Queripel. In the end Hooper hit the stumps twice to finish things off and a victory by 93 runs. More importantly they had taken maximum bonus points and thus overhauled Cobo Tigers to be crowned champions.
